Sun, Sea and Sand…

Well not exactly…

Not likely with the great British weather, and plus we are only just coming to the end of our winter! However it was still lovely and the sun was in fact shining! ☀️

This weekend I went to Brighton for a little day trip, with my other half! It is possibly one of my favourite places; if not in England – ever!

If you haven’t ever been to Brighton – or if you have, you will know that – it is a very pebbly, typical great British seaside resort in (East) Sussex. It has your very cliché seaside resort gift shops and ice cream stands as well as the “world famous”Harry Ramsden’s chippy! It certainly captures the very essence of the British seaside – which I adore! ❤

I also visited the Sealife aquarium this time. It was so much fun – perfect if you are looking for something to do that isn't too costly. It was £9.95 online per person if you book for 2 or more. Or it was £14.95 on the day (adult prices) once you have gone in you get a stamp which allows you entrance all day as much as you like. Once you are in, you queue up to have a couple of professional photos taken – which is a good laugh and you don't have to buy if you don't fancy it, but there are some good package deals!

There were loads of fishies and crabs and Sealife spectaculars, my fav’s have to be the sting rays and the big turtle! Not only can you walk around the fish tanks but there is also a big tunnel that you could walk rough as the Sharks, Rays, fish and turtle swim over you! There were options to have a behind the scenes tour and a few other extras, again at reasonable prices.

We then took a leisurely stroll from the aquarium along the seafront, whilst getting a bit messy with a classic 99′ flake ice cream!

Obviously when in Brighton it would be rude to not browse the amazing shopping! You have the lanes or the shopping centre – there’s really something for everyone! I could spend hours on hours on hours shopping in Brighton… The only part that disappointed me was Brighton’s Primark… But I’m sure I can live!

If you haven’t ever been to Brighton and it’s somewhere that sounds appealing then I personally would recommend going! It’s such a lovely place all year round! If your a shopping lover or just fancy somewhere new… It’s wonderful!
