Birch Box – February edition

Processed with Moldiv

So this month I subscribed to Birch Box – how have I only just found out about these?!

For those who don’t know, if you subscribe to birch box each month you will receive a little goody box which consists of a few products for you to try out and sample. It’s just under £13 a month, which I think is a really reasonable price!

I think they are such a good idea if you want a relatively cheap price for a number of different products on a regular basis to review for blogging etc… Or if you just want to give a few things a try before paying the full amount for a bigger size product. I personally think they are a fab deal and also an exciting little package for yourself each month – who doesn’t love to treat themselves! You can also build up points on the birch box website every time you purchase something, or if you recommend birch box to a friend, almost like an advantage card points system – which you can use to buy products when you have enough points.

Onto the review…

The packaging is cute, a simple little box labeled ‘Birch Box’ and inside is some lovely little cards, one which was a welcoming card with a 20% off voucher on my first purchase (as a new birch box customer) and another with a little guide to the products in the box and the last was just a little birch box update card with product information and a few other random bits of info!

In this months box I received;

⚫️ The Chia Co – oats + chia – I am not 100% sure what this is exactly as I have never had it before and I haven’t tried my sample yet! It looks like it’s some kind of herbal oatmeal/wholegrain thing! But I will give it a try and see what it’s like…
⚫️Models own – nail varnish in Sardonyx NP176 – this is a glittery red nail varnish. I haven’t used Models own nail varnish before but I have heard good things about them. This months box is valentines themed obviously being February so I guess that’s the reason for the colour! I’m excited to give it a try – I did sample it quickly when I got it and it is rather smooth for a glitter polish!
⚫️The balm cosmetics – a teeny tiny sampler of the ‘Cindy-Lou Manizer’ – again I haven’t used anything from ‘The balm cosmetics’ before but heard good stuff about their products, so I am very excited to use this! It is a highlighter, shimmer and a shadow – so has multi purpose which is always a good thing! And it is a lovely pinky/rose gold shade!
⚫️Agave hair oil – I can’t wait to use this as it states it’s for frizzy and damaged hair – so I think my hair will benefit from this! It’s again only a tiny sample so I will probably only get one use out of it…
⚫️Caudalie – radiance serum – this is one of my favourite items out of this months box! I have tried a little and it’s soooo nice on the skin, very soothing. It says to use it morning a night before moisturising. It’s a good small sample size so I should get a few uses out of it – before purchasing the full size product (maybe)
⚫️LONDON butterflies sea salt scrub – this is a birch box exclusive apparently and again it’s a good size! I’m looking forward to using this scrub – always a must for bath time essentials! It smells pretty good too…

I will let you all know how I get on with the products when I get my March birch box! Make you’re following my blog or follow me on Twitter and Instagram to keep up to date with everything! And if you subscribe to the birch boxes let me know what you think!

You can order your birch box here

Thanks a lot!
