So it is Spring already, the time of year when the air is fresh the sun makes an appearance, the jumpers and big layers are put into storage as people go crazy for the sunshine excitement! – Although in reality it’s not much warmer than the English winter! – It is however one of my favourite times of the year as it does start to look very pretty and fresh outside by you can still layer up and make cute outfits before the hot, sticky and sweaty summer season!
I have as usual been to Primark and I bought loads of stuff as it’s amazing in there at the mo and super cheap! But I thought for this post I would share a few bits I have purchased for spring/summer 2015 – as they have got it all out now and usually I leave it last minute and all the good stuff has gone!
^^^ The picture at the top is some of my favourite accessories they had in Primark recently! The floral cut out pumps are adorable and if you haven’t seen everywhere the floral print is very in this season! I just loved these and picked them up immediately- they were a bargain too only £6. Then there are the mahoosive sunnies in the big, retro circle shape, I absolutely loved these (hence the two pairs) I got the black and gold pair along with the tortoise-shell pair. I have quite a big head so I think they sit on my face shape quite well. They were I think between £1-£3 – so super cheap you could get as many pairs as you want for that price!
The next item is this super cute bleached/washed out light denim look dress with cute floral lacey detail on the front and back – the back is a cross over style which creates a cut out on the back which I loved and drew me to it! I have visions of this in the summer maybe at a festival or on holiday – it’s so cute and I can’t wait to wear it! This was £12.
I saw the black one of these on the Primark Instagram and wanted it instantly – I found the white one and bought it but they didn’t have the black one, the second time I went in they had loads of colours including the black one so I had to pick it up and considering they were only £5 each I didn’t want to miss out! I just think these will be perfect for the spring/summer with some high waisted jeans or jacked into shorts and they will go with anything!
For so long I have looked for a top like this as for me it resembles a look which ‘Baby’ from Dirty Dancing wears with some denim shorts . I absolutely love that film and pretty much everything that baby wears – I just think it’s super retro and cute! So when I saw this for £6 I chucked it straight in the basket – I LOVE IT – and can’t wait to wear it! I also just love the high neck – very flattering.
Even though I haven’t booked anything yet – I will be going on a sunny holiday somewhere, somewhen this summer with my best friend (a yearly tradition) and like I stated earlier I always leave getting my summer stuff right until the last minute and there are never any nice bikinis left so I jumped in early this year and found these beauties which were such a good price and look so cute and flattering on! I love them and want to go on holiday now! I love the bandeau top and they both have a removable halter neck strap, so perfect for sunbathing! I also fell in love with the patterns on both and the bright coloured mosaic bikini is so cool and vibrant perfect for summer! The one of the left was £6 for the set which came together, and the one on the right was sold separately the top was £6 and the bottoms were £4.
These beauties are not a Primark purchase – they are from River Island and I think are going to be my spring shoe staple. I absolutely adore these, they are super comfy and have an edgy look about them! I can picture pairing these with some rolled up jeans and cute frilly socks. These were £38 and I was slightly disheartened after just buying these and then going into Primark to find they did a pair almost identical for only £12! So if you like them maybe pop into Primark and see what you think if you are opting for a cheaper pair!
If you like anything you have seen on this post it’s all been purchased this month so they should all be in stock – it’s all from Primark apart from the black shoes at the bottom which are from river island! Hope you liked this post and let me know if you have seen any good items for spring/summer 2015!
Thanks a lot!
