I was having a catch up over brunch last weekend with a friend of mine. He introduced me to this little gem ‘Josie’s’. It’s a really cute understated, shabby chic kind of vibe deli. They have a wonderful breakfast and lunch menu, as well as a wide range of drinks. I really loved it there and wanted to share my excitement with you.

We walked in to a friendly face who seated us and gave us menus. I have to say all the staff at Josie’s were happy and friendly – which is great to see and definitely a big factor in whether I enjoy somewhere or not.

After gazing at the menu for a good five minutes deliberating on what I was going to have, I went up to the till to order. Cleverly placed right by the till is the gorgeous selection of freshly baked cakes and pastries including the gorgeous macaroons.

Beautifully presented my latté – I have a coffee addiction and this was by far one of the best coffees I have had in a while!

My friends went for a little more daring choice for brunch he had a twist on the classic Eggs Benedict – Mexican Eggs Benedict. Which I tried and I have to say was surprisingly delicious, my favourite part was the Mexican sausage!

However I went for a classic pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. I thought they had got it wrong when this came out as it looked more like a bacon muffin! But no, they really are pancakes! It was a struggle to eat it all I have to admit. But this was the best thing I have eaten in a long time! It was absolutely mouth wateringly good. I didn’t know where to start so I sat there taking lots of pictures… The whole place was very instagramble…

Go check it out for yourself here!

This is my new favourite place and I can’t wait to go back!
