One year of BrightEyeBlog

This time last year, my family were all on holiday, I was home alone and bored out of my mind. I had thought about making a blog for a while but just didn’t have the time or know how. After the first post I was so excited and eager to do more but soon lost the passion with little followers and no motivation, I would compare mine to other blogs I read and didn’t see the point. At the start of this year I had a burst of motivation and I wanted to push myself with my blog. I am so glad I did because a year on and I have watched my blog grow and I have fell in love with blogging, met some amazing people and had some brilliant opportunities all through blogging.

I have to say a massive thank you to all the blogging girls who have made me feel welcome but in particular Alice who runs the Soton Bloggers group on Twitter and runs all the Southampton bloggers events. She has put so much time and effort in and really helps out the blogging community! After going to one of her events it gave me so much more confidence and inspiration for blogging and since then I have made some beautiful friends. This is something I didn’t expect when I started my blog a year ago but since meeting the girls and finding such a friendly, fun community it’s definitely the best part!

I also want to say a massive thank you to my followers. There aren’t hunderds and thousands of you but I appreciate the followers i have for being loyal and joining me on the journey with my blog!

I just wanted to write a little something to mark the occasion and say thank you to those of you who have been there along the way this past year and for all the fun and opportunities I have had.

Here’s to many more years of Brighteyeblog!
