Chill Ed Repair | Review

I received this range of reconstructing hair treatment trio in one of the goody bags from the Southampton bloggers meet up last month! I have been giving it a fair try out over the last 4 weeks and have now finished the products. I thought I would share with you guys what I thought…

We will start with… My hair type

I have very long, thick and prone to frizz, dyed hair. It has definitely had its fair share of damage and is a little lifeless. It’s definitely been in need of some TLC recently and when I found this in the goody bag I was overjoyed to see some hair reconstructing goodness!

How I have been using the products?

I try to wash my hair as little as often which is usually about twice a week. I start off by dampening the hair then with a handful of the shampoo, massage it into my scalp/the roots of my hair. I try not to put a lot of shampoo on the ends, but run in through my hair as I wash it off. I then put a big handful of conditioner on my hair, I focus mainly on the ends and the damaged areas, but also put a little on the top just to make my hair silky smooth. I leave this on for about 2 – 5 minutes whilst I continue to shower etc… Then wash this off thoroughly. Once it’s all clean I then towel dry gently and put a generous amount of the reconstruction treatment over my hair and clip my hair up, I then leave in for 5-10 minutes. (I only do this step once a week as a hair refresh) then I wash out like the shampoo and conditioner.

The results and what I thought of the product…

I loved the feeling of my hair after the first time I used it. It’s really smoothing on the hair, the texture of my hair instantly improved and I found it easier to brush too! After using the products for a while now I can honestly say I love the trio together and will definitely be re purchasing these at some point! There’s no over powering scent and it really had help to repair my des lifeless hair. I also liked having a little hair treat once a week which I got with the reconstructing treatment, it really did help to reconstruct my hair and give it a healthier feel to it.
