I picked upthis gorgeous eyeshadow palette from The Balm a few weeks back and have been dying to share it on the blog since! I’m not a massive eyeshadow lover, I don’t wear shadows on a daily basis but I can’t resist a good palette when I see one!
What I love most about this palette is that the all the colours are usable, I hate with some palettes that there is the odd couple of dark or extremely bright colours that I wouldn’t wear. It ranges from the nude colours, to a few dark smoky colours and a few shimmery shades to add some sparkle.
It comes with a double ended brush but I prefer to use my own as its a bit small. But handy if you are on the go and want to save space.
I picked out a few of my favourite shades, these are some of the shades I have been using recently for smoky eyes and shimmery looks. They all blend really well, and look incredible layered ontop of each other.
**warning shameless selfie** Here’s a shimmery bronze look I created the other night… As I said I’m not your avid eyeshadow user so it is a little messy and not the most creative eye look but I loved it! I used the brown shade ‘sultry’ as a base on my lids, I then went in with the dark shimmery shade of ‘seductive’ in my crease, I added a little ‘selfish’ on the bottom on my lids and finished with a bit of ‘sassy’ in the corners of my eyes to brighten it up. I used a blending brush to blend the shades in and it created a really lovely bronze look which I will definitely be recreating again soon!
Even though it sounds like a nudes palette there is a good range of colours which you can use to create different looks but also there are shades which you can use for a daily look.
You can find it on the superdrug website here!
Have you used the Nude’tude palette? What’s your favourite shades? Any palette recommendations for me?
