I do love skin care and spending some time on myself to relax however it can be a pain when all you wanna do is crawl into bed after a long day. I also find that my favourite products to use are so expensive and I hate splashing out on a cleanser or an eye cream when I could be splashing the cash at MAC on beautiful lipsticks!
Well I’m sure a lot of you will feel the same. However skincare is really important in keeping your skin looking youthful and beautiful…
Maybe if we didn’t have to spend so much on it we would feel more inclined to doing it? Well over the last couple of months I have been collecting a few skin care bargains that are equally as good as my favourite high-end products for a fraction of the price! I have been recommending them to my family and friends and everyone’s getting on with them so well I thought I would share my bargain finds with you!
The first product is no surprise and very popular with a lot of ladies, it’s the Garnier Micellar Water. This has hit the beauty world by storm over the last year it’s the perfect alternative to bioderma and is the perfect way to take off your makeup. I use a couple of cotton pads and my face feels so refreshed and makeup free after using this! It’s really affordable and lasts me all month, I can’t live without this stuff! It retails at around £3.29 you can find it here on the superdrug website or pick it up at any supermarket or drugstores.
The next product is by far one of my favourite find this year! I am a massive hot cloth cleanser fan, my favourite being the classic Liz Earle. This cleanser is an amazing alternative if you are on a budget or don’t like splashing out on skin care. It is so similar even down to the smell. It’s so refreshing on the skin and I always feel amazing after using it. It last ages too! I use this morning and night and it will last me over a month. It’s a really decent size product and comes with a Muslim cloth too, just like my favourite high end hit cloth cleansers – although I do use my own flannels. This is from Superdrugs own brand and is only £5.99 for 150ml. But is often on a half price offer. You can find it on the superdrug website here!
This product has been a favourite skincare product of mine for as long as I can remember. It is the best exfoliator I have used. When I’m having a bad skin week I will put some of this on and it completely sorts me out. Perfect for clearing up any spots and getting rid of dead skin. The smell is amazing too! I use this twice a week and this lasts me so long! I will say it can be quite tough and scratchy, so not brilliant if you have really sensitive skin but I get on with it really well. This St Ives product is around £3.99 you can find it online here!
This next product I get so excited about because I love it! If you are a fan of luxury products such as the Estée Lauder skin care range… In particular the night repair serum but don’t like the price then you better head over to savers or look for this online! This serum has changed my evening skincare routine for the better. I have only tried a sample size of the Estée Lauder night repair serum, and I would love to use that in my skincare routine but at around £50 a pop I can’t bring myself to re-purchase it! This little dupe is only £2.49 in savers and it really is incredible. If you read my blog a lot you will know how much I moan about my dry skin and up until recently I never used a night serum in my routine. I have been using this for the last 2 months and I am in love. It has completely sorted out my dry skin and I go to bed with the smoothest/silkiest skin ever. It honestly has become a holy grail product of mine now. I have recommended this to loads of my friends now and they have also fallen in love, you could get nearly 20 of these for the price of one bottle of Estée Lauder…YOU NEED TO TRY THIS! I bought this from a Savers, unfortunately Savers don’t have a website but I have found it on amazon here!
The last product is a more recent find of mine and it’s from the exclusive brand at superdrug ‘B. Skincare’ and it’s the day cream/moisturiser. I haven’t loved a cream or moisturiser like this in ages. It’s so rich and moisturising and as described in the box perfect for protecting skin against early ageing. It’s usually around £9.90 but is currently on offer at £4.95… You can find it here!
I am always on the look out for more bargains so let me know if you have any to add to my list! Did you find this useful?
