Homeware haul with Homesense

A massive homesense and tkmaxx store opened up near where I live at the end of last year (I went to the opening, check out my blog post here!) I have been itching to go back for ages for a proper snoop and to find any homeware bargains. At the start of the year I had a big clear out, through all my jewllery, makeup, skin care and clothes. It was fab to go through it all but I decided it was time to freshen up my bedroom and get some new storage for all my things.

January and the winter in general can be quite depressing and gloomy, so I wanted to brighten the place up a bit with some of their beautiful faux flowers. I love fresh flowers don’t get me wrong however these beautiful fake flowers will last forever and are very little hassle, plus they are perfect for displaying in blog/Instagram photos! Homesense have a whole market of faux flowers in all shapes and sizes, not to mention the variety of colours perfect for adding a touch of colour to your decor.

I picked up this gorgeous white bouquet in a cute little white pot. This goes so well with my decor and really does brighten the room up. I think they would work well in any room to be honest and I know they will look good in the background of blog photos too (multipurpose). I also picked up a really cute candle with an A on it, again it fits in with the decor of my room and I couldn’t resist, put next to the flowers it just looks so girly and pretty. I also picked up a single pink flower, really simple, it goes with the theme of my room and again will look great in blog photos. I could of picked a few more of these up to be honest but I quite like the understated look on its own.

I have been on the look out for an attractive jewllery box piece for a while, not the tradional jewllery box but something pretty which will hold my everyday pieces and look good in my room. I stumbled across this beautiful silver patterned trinket box by chance and it was love at first sight! This is absolutely stunning and not something I have seen before. It’s a bit different for me, but looks so classic in my room I know this won’t go out of style and will work with different interiors so I will be able to hold on to it for a long time!

The last bit I picked up was this canvas basket. It’s got that shabby chić look to it, very girly and just a simple storage basket. Perfect for my skin care, nail varnishes and of course my Lush products! It’s such a handy size, not too bulky but will fit enough stuff in. This was such a bargain for only £3.99 I am going to go pick some more up!

Homesense is definitely becoming one of my favourite places to shop, I’m really enjoying picking up beautiful homeware pieces. I love how affordable it is and the thrill of picking up a one off that you wouldn’t get in ikea or next…

*I was gifted a voucher for PR purposes. All views and opinions are completely honest and my own.
