Mother’s Day gift ideas

As I’m sure you are all aware Mother’s Day is fast approaching… So I thought I would put together a few gift ideas!

Jewellery
One of my favourite jewellery brands and always my safe option when buying a gift is Pandora, whether it’s a ring, charm or necklace that shop knows how to do it. The packaging is elegant and sophisticated, you don’t even have to lift a finger it’s all done for you. Their Mother’s Day range is so cute and it’s a nice personal touch to add to a charm bracelet. I love with Pandora you can collect their pieces to make up a story, for example for birthdays, Mother’s Day, special occasions. They are a nice keep sake.

Perfume

A perfume/gift set – another classic gift in my eyes. You really can’t go wrong with a good perfume as a gift! Who doesn’t like to smell good? And how cute is the packaging of this bottle? Lots of shops often do special offers around Mother’s Day on their gift sets which end up cheaper than the perfume on its own!

Chocolates

Luxury chocolates… Now this one is an easy and obvious one! There are so many on the market but I love these luxury chocolate truffles from marks and spencer, little pieces of chocolate heaven!

Handbag

What woman doesn’t need a new handbag? A mother always has everything including the kitchen sink in their handbags so it makes for the perfect Mother’s Day gift! TKMaxx have such a great range of handbags all shapes, sizes and colours not to mention amazing brands at discounted prices.

Have a look at the handbag collection on TKMaxx/Homesense website here (although I recommend popping into store to find the best bags)

Candles

I love a good candle and it makes for the perfect gift as they are something I don’t always buy for myself everyday, so it makes for a nice treat. Homesense have a massive selection of candles to choose from, one of my favourite parts of the shop to go to, sniffing my way through them all. You can even buy gift set candles too!

Skincare

Skin care is somethin which some of us do neglect, especially my mother, I don’t know about yours? I think it’s nice to treat people to new products that they may not buy for themselves, such as a luxury face mask or a new cleanser gift set.  TKMaxx again have such a big selection of high end products at discounted rates. I think this Touche by Flavian is such a beautifully packaged product, looks so sophisticated and classy in the black box making the perfect skincare treat for someone special!

Pampering

Which brings me on to the last thing on my gift ideas post… Lush! Lush have a range for every occasion, and Mother’s Day is no exception. You can buy the gift set boxes or individual limited edition products such as the ladybird bath bomb! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but when you get something as a present it would be rude not to give t a try and I’m sure they would soon fall in love and turn into a lush addict like the rest of us!

Experience days/ packagesI really like buying vouchers or experience days/packages as gift ideas too! Something like a high tea in a fancy hotel or a spa day with treatments would make the perfect Mother’s Day treat!
What have you got planned for your mum on morthers day?

                                   Anna
