I prepped my face with a thorough skin care, and a little body shop vitiman C instant glow enhancer. I then blended in my foundation with my fingers. I went for my Chanel healthy glow foundation, as you can see there’s a theme – check out my review of it here! I let that sink in and faff around with my hair a little, and then add some concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes! Blend it all together with a buffing brush.
Then onto brows, which I have been loving using my brow genius compact from Loreal topped with my Maybeline brow drama to hold them in place. I find this combination holds all day and gives me the best natural looking brows, but they look well groomed!
I then give my lips some TLC by applying my new favourite thing ever… My Lush sugar lip scrub which I was given at an event recently – read all about it here! Lick (yes I said lick) it all off for smooth lips and then apply my M&S vanilla lip balm.
Hopefully my foundation has had time to settle and now I contour my face a little with my Kiko compact which I adore, it’s so pretty! I then pop on a little touch of colour onto my cheeks, I am using my H&M blush in the shade coral. I thought this would be such a cute Spring cheek colour!
Onto the eyes, I have mentioned recently that I’m trying to use eyeshadows more, so I have left my trusty eyeliner pen in the makeup draw and picked up my makeup revolution eye shadow palette flawless and my Maybeline New York cream eyeshadow in the shade 69 pink gold. I start by blending some of the cream eyeshadow over my lids, then blend a brown over the top, and use a darker brown in my crease, also using a angle liner brush I create subtle line along my lower lash line and up creating a slight flick. I use a blending brush to blend the shadows out slightly which creates a really simple neutral eye. I use my classic roller lash from benefit to create curvy lashes and to lengthen them and then my Rimmel London wake me up mascara to add some volume and to darken them up a little.
Next I brush some of my makeup revolution baked highlighter over my cheek bones, cuspids bow and tip of my nose, to add some brightness to my face! Not really sure what else to say about a highlighter… Although you can find my review of this one here!
Last but definitely not least, possibly my favourite part… The lips! I use my good old Kiko intensely lavish lip liner in the shade 01 which is a gorgeous Rosey pink. Then top it off with my urban decay matte revolution lipstick in the shade ‘stark naked’ which I also reviews recently here!
This is a really quick and easy makeup look, which I think looks put together but not too over done perfect for the bank holiday weekend, Sunday lunch or whenever really!
