I recently went along to The Bodyshop #Daretomask event to celebrate the launch of their new superfood face masks. We had drinks and nibbles, skin care consultations and a master class in contouring using their new adjusting drops. It was a really fun evening and any excuse to play with some body shop products im there really, the body shop is a brand I have and will always, love.
The event was to celebrate the launch the new superfood masks. It’s an interesting concept As each one made with a “super food” all serving different purposes. There’s something for everyone. They all all vegitarian too which is fabulous! There are 5 masks in the collection;
- Amazonian Acai energising radiance mask (100%vegan)
- British rose fresh plumping mask (100%vegan)
- Chinese ginseng and rice clarifying and polishing mask (100% vegitarian)
- Ethiopian honey deep norishing mask (100% vegitarian)
- Himilayian charcoal purifying glow mask (100%vegan)
The lovely Liz from the body shop talked us through each of the new face masks on offer, as she did a mini skin care routine on me after a quick consultation to see what my skin type was etc… I loved the British rose mask, it’s really hydrating and the perfect option if you have dry skin like me. I can imagine putting it in the fridge being so soothing!

I also picked up some other products thanks to Liz’s recommendations from their vitamin E range and also a beautiful new cleanser! Which I have been testing and will review in the next couple of weeks.
Liz then took us through how to use their new adjusting drops. I love the sound of these as you can use them to your preference, mix them with any product to turn an almost there shade into the perfect shade! And we’ve all done it… I treated myself to a beautiful Chanel foundation for my birthday but it’s too light, so will have to think about purchasing these magical drops! Liz showed us how to use them and create the perfect contour! I swear makeup artists are some kind of wizard or something!
I had such a fun evening and really enjoyed nosing around the new products. Make sure you go in a have a look for yourself! This is all in stores now and they may even have some offers on still if you get there quick!
The face masks retail at £15 each
The adjusting drops are £10-£12
