If I were to recommend one beauty item to anyone this year it would have to be the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. After wanting to try it for months and months I decided to take the plunge and buy it whilst away in America. I spent a good hour in a Sephora in New York deciding on what I was going to buy/try as I could of bought the whole shop. But after wanting to try this out for so long it went straight into my black and white bag!
Without sounding dramatic, I have completely fallen for this product. It is everything and more that I look for in a mascara and its completely worth the £20 price tag. I vary from high end to high-street brands for my mascara, it all depends on the brush for me. Some of my favourites this year have been the Rimmel Wake Me Up Mascara, Benefit Roller Lash ,Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes and the Maybelline Lash Sensational . But Better Than Sex has trumped them all. The brush is very full and holds just the right amount of product. My lashes are long, full and volumised. It doesn’t clump and the staying power is incredible. I can apply this in the morning and feel confident that it will last all day. I only need a couple of swipes of this and there is an instant, dramatic difference in my lashes. Its definitely not the right mascara if you don’t like full and thick lashes.
The product is £19, but it lasts for a good 5 months before drying out. I think this is a very reasonable price for a product that is so good. I would rather spend out on one good product that will last me than buy several cheaper products that aren’t as good and don’t last very long. There is also a Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof mascara, which I am intrigued by as the normal product is pretty tough – I struggle to take this off!
I have honestly not stopped raving about this product since I’ve tried it and I am already onto my second mascara.
