Stockholm Outfit diary…

If you haven’t seen my Instagram then you may not know… I have just got back from a beautiful, short but sweet city break in Stockholm. I have a few travel related posts from my recent trip. But all thanks to the bright colours and aesthetically pleasing cobbled streets, I took quite a few posy pictures and have collated a little ‘outfit diary’ /denim jacket appreciation post, to kick things off.

Day 1 – travelling…

Friday we were up at the early hours of 3am to travel to Gatwick for a 6:30 flight. I opted for my ripped black jeans from New Look teamed with a cosy grey jumper from H&M. I layered this with an oversized, distressed/ripped denim jacket from Primark – I am absolutely obsessed with this jacket which I’m sure will become obvious by the end of this post. I did start off with a black faux leather rucksack to travel with but swapped this to a black cross body, gold chain bag from Primark, when I got to Stockholm. This bag is such a perfect size for a city break as it fits everything I need in it but its still so small. I love the cute little gold bugs on the front. Classic white Converse were an easy shoe option for this outfit. I wanted to be comfy and casual ready to start exploring the city. This outfit kept me warm from the Swedish breeze.

Day 2 – Walking tour, shopping and sight seeing…

Now you can really see the full outfit, and you are probably thinking that it looks very similar to the first. However we only had hand luggage so had to pack light… which meant limited space for outfits. For the second day of the trip I wore my ripped skinny’s again with a thin leopard print jumper from H&M layered underneath the oversized denim jacket from Primark. Again with my Converse and cross body bag.

I am so happy I decided to buy the denim jacket for this trip. It was an absolute bargain at £18 and kept me surprisingly warm considering the amount of rips. Its not a typical look for me, but I really liked my casual look from this city break.

Day 3 – Abba Museum, Sightseeing, eating…

Today was such a lovely sunny day, I decided on a floral dress (Primark), again paired with my denim jacket and cross body bag, I opted for my black ankle boots from New Look for this outfit to make it a little more chić. I was even able to whack out my new marble framed, mirrored sunnies from Primark as it was such a gorgeous day.

Day 4 – Last sightseeing, eating and travelling home…

The temperature had dropped on our last day, my suitcase was bursting at the seams so I layered up a basic stripes tee with my ripped black jeans, new nav blue Stockholm jumper with the denim jacket and my faux leather rucksack. I went back to the converse as walking around… boots aren’t the best idea!

The streets in Gamlastan, Stockholm are absolutely stunning. The cobbled streets, brightly coloured walls, fountains and statues round ever corner. Its a beautiful city, with so much going on. I had an absolute blast whilst basically modelling the whole primark spring range. Make sure you keep an eye out for my Stockholm travel posts!
